Chemotherapy service returns

CANCER patients in the remoter isles of the Outer Hebrides are to receive chemotherapy closer to home, saving a journey of more than 120 miles.

NHS Western Isles is to re-launch the service for patients in the Uists and Barra it axed in 2002. The first patient is due to be treated on 11 March.
