Charity cow to hoof it home

A CHARITY cow stolen from its plinth in Prestonpans has been found in a garden in the Capital.

And the Alien cow, part of the city's CowParade, is now due to be restored to its former position on Monday, after weeks of restoration work.

The cow was discovered outside a home in Corstorphine after it was snatched from the Prestongrange Gothenburg pub.

Thieves ram-raided the artwork off its pedestal before loading it into the back of a van and driving away.

But the cow was found to have been dumped in the garden just a few days after it was taken on June 6.
