Changed way of life
Our primary goal during the Second World War was to ensure that others did not change our way of life. Today, we only have to pass through an airport, see concrete blocks outside government buildings, be subjected to government restrictions, be threatened with ID cards and feel the mistrust that has developed between the people and officialdom to realise our hapless government has done all it can to enable others to change our way of life.
