Soap star Helen Flanagan in fourth jungle flop

Helen Flanagan flopped again after fouling up her fourth bushtucker trial in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here last night.

The actress, who starred in Coronation Street, teamed up with EastEnders’ Charlie Brooks for the challenge that saw the pair asked to dive under water and pick up stars with their teeth while trying to ignore water spiders, eels and lizards.

Brooks managed to get three stars, but when it was Flanagan’s turn, she ignored hosts Ant and Dec’s instructions and picked up four with her hands, which meant they did not count.

She told the Geordie duo: “I think it’s because I panic so much, I forget using my teeth.”

But her excuses cut no ice with Brooks, who said: “Just the silliness of it all just frustrates me. It’s like ‘you really need to get a grip sometimes’.”

She confessed to the Bush Telegraph: “When you feel you have to walk on egg shells because you might say something that’s going to make somebody cry, it becomes a little bit intolerable to live with all the time. I find myself losing my patience.”
