Royal tour: Charles and Camilla call the cavalry

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrive at a cavalry event in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on the eighth day of a tour of the Middle East yesterday.

The royal couple are on the fourth and final leg of a tour visiting Jordan, Qatar, Saudia Arabia and Oman.

The Prince of Wales also took part in a traditional Omani dance yesterday as he toured fort Nizwa. Charles, along with the Duchess of Cornwall, watched a group perform sword tossing and mock fighting. He was then handed a blade and began mimic the sword dance. Picture: Getty Images
