Lorraine lays it on for Dundee

TELEVISION presenter Lorraine Kelly will tomorrow lay the first brick of a new extension to Dundee University’s Medical School.

Ms Kelly, 52, awarded an OBE this week at an investiture ceremony at the Palace of Holyrood House, was rector of the university from 2004 until 2007.

She said: “I’m delighted to lay the first brick of this important new development. I’m very proud of my links with Dundee University which consistently punches above its weight and has played such an important part in the renaissance of my brilliant adopted city.”

The extension is phase two of an £11 million upgrade at the Medical School.
