JUSTIN Bieber has expressed his sorrow over the “tragic accident” that resulted in the death of a photographer taking pictures of the singer’s sports car.

The unnamed papparazo, 29, was struck by a car in Los Angeles as he took pictures of the pop star’s $200,000 Ferrari 458 Italia last night.

The sportscar was stationary at the time of the accident, having been pulled over by local police officers. Bieber was not at the scene when the incident occured.

The man, who died shortly after being taken to hospital, was hit by an oncoming car after returning to his own vehicle.

Bieber was reported by CNN as saying: “While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.”

The motorist who struck the photographer is unlikely to face charges.
