FORMER TV presenter John Leslie has taken £750,000 off the asking price for his house in a bid to sell the six-bedroom villa.

The one-time Blue Peter presenter bought the former nursing home in the Braids area for £1,25 million in 2006, and put it on the market for £2.5 million four years ago.

When it failed to sell, he slashed the price on the house to £1.75 million, and put the property up for sale again.

The house features a library, a media room and boasts stunning views of Edinburgh Castle, and is situated in what property experts have termed a ‘desirable part of town.’
