GREEN MILE actor Michael Clarke Duncan has died eight weeks after suffering a heart attack.

The 54-year-old’s actress fiancé Omarosa Manigault confirmed last night that he had been taken into hospital

on July 13 but died in Los Angeles on Monday.

News of the Academy Award nominee’s heart attack had not been made public.

Duncan’s first breakthrough onto the big screen came in the 1998 movie “Armageddon.”

That led to a much larger role in the 1999 prison drama “The Green Mile” with Tom Hanks.

Duncan played a death row inmate with magical powers who is put to death for two murders he did

not commit.

The role won him a supporting actor Oscar nomination.

He also had roles in the 2003 comic book movie “Daredevil” and 2005 release “Sin City.”

He starred this year in several episodes of the Fox crime drama “The Finder.”
