Dappy case goes to Crown Court

N-Dubz rapper Dappy will have his case heard in the Crown Court after being charged with affray over a fight at a petrol
station which left three men with serious facial injuries.

The singer was arrested on 12 March following the incident on the forecourt of a garage in Guildford, Surrey, in the early hours of 28 February.

He appeared for a committal hearing at Guildford Magistrates’ Court yesterday under his real name of Dino Costas Contostavlos, a court official said.

He will appear alongside his three co-defendants at Guildford Crown Court on 24 August.
