Care home up for award for OAP activities
A CARE home is in the running for a prestigious award for encouraging residents to try new activities.
Spring Gardens Care Home is one of only three Scottish homes shortlisted for the competition, run by the charity, the National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People (NAPA).
Staff at the Portobello home organised activities including a trip to the Beach and even a volleyball competition for residents at the home.
