Capital gains from £15m life sciences funds grant
A NEW partnership will create 250 research posts across the country – with Edinburgh at the heart of the operation.
The Scottish Government has announced around 15 million of funding to help create posts in pharmacy, radiology and tissue banks over three years.
Health secretary Nicola Sturgeon said: "Life sciences research in our NHS and universities is regarded as among the very best in the world. This new initiative opens up further opportunities for cutting-edge research into real health benefits."
