Capital dentists get to root of unsightly teeth problems
A LEITH-BASED dental surgery has introduced one of the most advanced adult teeth straightening procedures to the practice.
Lubiju Dental surgery, which opened earlier this year, specialises in areas ranging from advanced oral reconstructive surgery to painless cosmetic treatments.
Now the practice is among the first in the country to offer the "Six Month Smiles treatment", which is aimed at adults who are too self-conscious to show their teeth.
Dentist Dr Biju Krishnan, who set up Lubiju along with Dr Lubino do Rego, said: "There are thousands of adults in Scotland who are ashamed of their teeth and cover their mouths whenever they laugh or smile.
"The braces used in the Six Month Smiles treatment are virtually invisible and as the name suggests, the treatment is very short when compared against the two years that traditional braces can be worn for."
