Cancer battler donates art to charity show
AN artist who has battled cancer four times and has outlived doctors' predictions by two years has donated some of her work for display in Edinburgh.
Fiona Ross, who was told in February 2005 that she had just six months to live, said her passion for painting gave her the will to survive.
The 68-year-old Stirling artist has donated some of her work to Macmillan Cancer Support's art show, which the charity hopes to raise 60,000 from.
The show is taking place in Edinburgh's Lyon and Turnbull auction house on September 21, 22 and 23.
Ms Ross said: "
I am very happy to be able to use my art to help other people going through similar experiences to my own."
