Cancer charity events no joke
A CANCER charity is presenting comedy events to raise funds.
Edinburgh-based bone marrow charity Myeloma UK has teamed up with the Gilded Balloon to present the "Stand up for Myeloma" comedy events.
One of the first of the events, which will be staged across the UK to increase the profile of myeloma and raise money to fund research, will be held in Edinburgh.
Myeloma UK chief executive, Eric Low said: "The Gilded Balloon holds high acclaim and therefore we feel very privileged to be able to partner with it. Details of the dates, locations and line-ups will be announced soon."
