Cameron and Clegg refuse MPs' pay rise
CONESRVATIVE Party leader David Cameron and Liberal Democrat counterpart Nick Clegg yesterday announced they were matching Prime Minister Gordon Brown and turning down the £1,000 pay rise on offer to MPs.
All ministers, two other senior Tories and Lib Dem deputy Vince Cable will also voluntarily forego the rise, which will bring MPs' salaries to 65,737.
