Bus stop man punched in face
A MAN was taken to hospital suffering from a cut above his eye after being punched in the face while standing at a bus stop.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the assault on the 41-year-old man in Midlothian.
The incident happened at around 10:50pm on 5 March as the man was standing at a bus stop outside the Royal Bank of Scotland on Main Street, Newtongrange.
He was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Officers want to speak to a man and woman known to have been in the area at the time of the assault.
The suspect is described as male, white, 6ft tall and in his thirties. He had dark hair and was wearing a white top.
