Bus gutted by fire in Slamannan

Police and emergency services tackled a mystery bus blaze last night in Station Road, Slamannan, after receiving an alert just after 10pm.

The vehicle was completely gutted despite firefighters’ efforts to bring the fire under control, but nobody is thought to have been injured.

Falkirk Council was informed, and the road was closed to traffic while a recovery crew was summoned to tow away the burned-out shell of the bus.
