Burns Night goes global
AROUND 600 "lassies and laddies" from as far afield as New York, Dublin and Sweden enjoyed a children's charity Burns Night in the Capital.
The Children 1st Burns Reloaded event at the Corn Exchange on Saturday raised 13,500 for the Edinburgh-based charity.
Compered by Talk 107 DJs Bruce Devlin and Susan Morrison, it featured pipers, drummers, dancers and comedians, as well as ceilidh band Robbie Shepherd's Nightmare.
