Broadband is back on
A FAULT which left around 100 Edinburgh residents without broadband has been fixed, Virgin Media has said. The fault on Monday was reported to have affected Virgin Media customers in the EH4, EH6, EH11 and EH14 areas of the Capital.
Local resident James Christie was told by the company his broadband service may not be repaired until 29 September, but the company said his problem was unrelated to the wider fault and had now been resolved.
A Virgin Media spokesman said: "A broadband hardware fault affecting customers in areas of Edinburgh was successfully resolved during the early hours of Tuesday morning. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
