Boy swallows Valium tablets

A 12-YEAR-OLD BOY was taken to hospital after taking five Valium tablets sold to him by a drug dealer.

The boy, from Armadale, is said to have bought five of the tablets from two well-known dealers from Livingston.

Police called an ambulance to take him to St John's Hospital, Livingston, where he was examined by doctors and later allowed home.

A police spokesman said: "Lothian and Borders Police are investigating after a 12 year-old boy was supplied with a quantity of medication pills."
