Boy aged four has lung transplant
FOUR-YEAR-OLD Mason Lewis has become the smallest person in the UK to have a successful lung transplant.
Surgeons at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London carried out the transplant to treat a congenital condition that limited his development. He was just 3ft tall when the surgery took place, and would have lived two years without it.
