Blur to headline T in the Park
BLUR will play the T In The Park festival this summer, it was announced today.
Blur will headline the main stage at Balado, Kinross-shire, on Saturday July 11.
It will be their third performance at the event.
Blur played at the first T In The Park in 1994 on a bill which also included Oasis and Pulp, and they headlined the main stage in 1999.
Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol and Katy Perry have already been confirmed for this year's T In The Park line-up.
Geoff Ellis, chief executive of DF Concerts, which promotes the festival, said: "It's fantastic that Blur have re-formed and we're delighted to be able to confirm them for T In The Park this year, especially as the last time they played the festival was 10 years ago."
Organisers said T In The Park would be the only chance to see Blur perform in Scotland this summer.
The festival runs from Friday July 10 to Sunday July 12.
