Blast off for sci-fi comedy
STILL Game stars Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill have written a comedy about a group of neds who blast off into space, it has been reported.
The show, with the working title The Sci-Fi Project, chronicles the lives of the Glaswegians, who have to travel into space after a meteor crashes into Scotland.
Hemphill, 38, said: "This is the first sci-fi series set in Scotland.
"We're hoping to get it on screens in August or September next year."
Last year, Hemphill auditioned for the role of Scotty in the new series of Star Trek, but lost out on the part.
