Birthday gift for care firm
THE woman who founded a care company a year ago celebrated its first birthday by scooping a prestigious award.
Jane Perry set up the Bluebird Care office in the city's Castlebrae Business Centre in June 2008.
She has managed to expand the business and recently won the best newcomer category in the Scottish Care at Home Awards. She said: "We are completely thrilled by winning another award in six months. We are operating in difficult and challenging market conditions, so it's doubly gratifying to be acknowledged in this way."
Ms Perry set up the business, which provides care for sick and elderly people in their homes after being made redundant for the fourth time in 20 years.
