Bid to cut down on drug deaths
EVERY drug-related death in Tayside is to be recorded on a database in an attempt to cut the toll from heroin and other drug overdoses.
The initiative, announced by NHS Tayside yesterday, is built on the success of a similar system in Fife and aims to help shape services for drug users in the area.
