Best chef at Taste of Edinburgh
HUGH FEARNLEY-WHITTINGSTALL: Roadkill chef, author and campaigner for "real food", Hugh will appear at the festival's Taste Theatre on 29 May. The star of Channel 4's River Cottage will give a demonstration of his cooking in what is sure to be a packed event.
JEAN-CHRISTOPHE NOVELLI: The Michelin-starred French chef and TV favourite will give visitors a flavour of his French cooking, style and passion at his afternoon and evening demonstrations on Sunday, showing off his culinary craft live on stage.
NICK NAIRN Stirling-born Nick will be at the festival on Saturday. A winner of a Michelin star, author and regular on the BBC's Ready Steady Cook, Nick's appearance at the festival will give his fans a rare opportunity to take in some of his renowned cookery school skills
TOM KITCHIN Tom has created a stir in the culinary world with his creative approach to showcasing the best of Scotland's outstanding larder. In January 2007, his Edinburgh restaurant, The Kitchin, was awarded a coveted Michelin star, making Tom, aged 29, the youngest-ever Scottish chef proprietor to win one.
Tom will be demonstrating at the Taste Theatre on Sunday, presenting his dedication to the finest, freshest Scottish produce.
