Behind scenes events at St John's praised
TWO events dedicated to allowing the public into a Lothians hospital to see what goes on behind the scenes have been praised.
NHS Lothian organised the open doors days at St John's Hospital in Livingston as part of the health service's 60th anniversary.
Health chiefs said there was a good turn-out at both events with more than 600 people attending, including patients and staff.
Diane Loughlin, NHS Lothian's lead on patient focus public involvement and health promotion, said: "The diamond anniversary of NHS Lothian is a fantastic opportunity to look back on what has been achieved over the past 60 years and to highlight the commitment of our staff and volunteers."
