Beer festival cash pours in
A BEER festival organised by students has helped to raise more than £6000 for good causes.
The 24th Annual Beer Festival organised by Heriot-Watt University Students Association Brewing Society raised the sum for Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) and Schools for Africa.
Around 57 beers from across the UK were available over the weekend, as well as live music.
Adam Johnson, Brewing Society President, said: "Everyone had a great time and I'm over the moon with the amount we raised for CHAS and Schools for Africa."
