Barnardo's film sparks shooters' fury
A FILM by Barnardo's featuring gun-toting hunters firing at children has sparked hundreds of complaints.
The short internet film, called Hunting, features two men preparing for a shoot, talking about "parasites", and "shooting a few".
The final scene sees them arriving at an urban scene, shooting at children. It was launched yesterday as part of a Barnardo's campaign aimed at challenging negative attitudes towards young people.
Dave Harper, a spokesman for the British Association of Shooting and Conservation, said the film had attracted "hundreds" of complaints from members.
Barnardo's said any offence was "unintentional".
