Backtracking on sales for 20th anniversary
A MUSIC shop is to celebrate its 20th anniversary by giving a full refund to anyone who can produce a receipt for goods bought more than a decade ago.
The owner of Backtracks in Tollcross said he was keen to see some old goods sold from the past and came up with the unusual incentive.
Anyone who bought something from the shop more than ten years ago – assuming it is still in working order – can bring it back to the shop with a receipt and get their money back.
Owner Tommy Robertson said: "It's something we'll be running all week from 30 October. It's a different type of thing to do for an anniversary celebration."
And he added: "The business has changed a lot since we opened in 1989."
