Backing for panda move
BUSINESS leaders today backed efforts to persuade the Chinese government to house giant pandas at Edinburgh Zoo.
Graham Birse, deputy chief executive of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, said the giant pandas would be "the largest draw on offer to any zoo, and a great benefit to the city in general".
