Baberton Mains sorely missed
I REFER to the article "Sound in the suburbs" (25 October). I decided to read it with great interest as my son was asked, while working in my front garden in Baberton Mains Wynd during the week, if he could be photographed for an article which was going to be written about life in the suburbs, ie Baberton Mains/Juniper Green.
However, I was disappointed for two reasons: 1) The picture at the beginning of the article is incorrect. I part quote: "… looking down Baberton Mains Road in Juniper Green." The picture is looking down Baberton Mains Drive. There is no Baberton Mains Road in the estate and Baberton is not in Juniper Green. 2) There was really no mention of Baberton Mains Estate in the article at all, it was all about Juniper Green.
