Award-winning play aims to protect elephants
AN award-winning play which aims to protect the elephant in South Africa is coming to the Capital's Festival Theatre.
Elephant was first produced for the renowned wildlife charity, the Born Free Foundation, to promote the protection of the animal.
Now 12 years on, it highlights the elephant as a symbol of a free South Africa. It is being brought to Edinburgh by the UK Arts International, together with arts company Dodgy Clutch and Market Theatre, Johannesburg.
The run at the Festival Theatre is from April 19-May 3.
