Asylum play scoops award
AN acclaimed play about asylum seekers staged inside a lorry has won a top Fringe prize.
Clare Bayley's The Container was played out before an audience of up to 20 people behind George Square Gardens.
It has won the Freedom of Expression Award, which is jointly promoted by Amnesty International and the Big Issue in Scotland.
It was set up in 1991 to reward companies whose performance combines artistic excellence with making a significant contribution to public awareness and understanding of human rights issues.
