Asbo crackdown to end tenants' party noise
THREE tenants in the same street have been served with antisocial behaviour orders following complaints over noise and late-night parties.
Lothian and Borders Police, East Lothian Council and East Lothian Housing Association teamed up to bring interim Asbo applications before Haddington Sheriff Court.
They have been granted against three tenants in Dury Way, Wallyford - John Armstrong, Lynsey Gardner and Sharon Muir. Applications for full antisocial behaviour orders will be heard on January 16.
Martin Pollhammer, chief executive of East Lothian Housing Association, said: "I hope this helps the individuals concerned think about how they will enjoy the festive season without making the lives of their neighbours a misery, as they have done for the past few months."
