As it happened: John McCain v Barack Obama, US presidential debate
Our New York correspondent Chris Stephen was blogging live from the third and final presidential debate this morning.
With Barack Obama leading in the polls, John McCain needed to find a game-winner.
Both candidates, however, found themselves caught in detailed policy talk on tax and spending for much of the 90-minute televised debate.
This seemed to suit Mr Obama, who looked calm and collected, while Mr McCain appeared angry at times.
