Tilda Swinton is the face of Chanel ad campaign

SCOTS Hollywood actress Tilda Swinton has been selected by top fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld to be the face of the advertising campaign for Chanel’s Paris-Edinburgh collection – the annual Metiers d’Art collection that was shown in December at Linlithgow Palace.

The designer said: “Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edimbourg collection. She is of course Scottish, but more than that she is a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance.”

For the Chanel shoot he photographed her earlier in the Château d’Ecouen, a Renaissance castle near Chantilly, France.
