Are we safe?
Catastrophe You report (24 July) that scientists have declared we are safe from mega-catastrophe.
But they have neglected the Yellowstone super-volcano in North America, which has erupted with devastating effect every 600,000 years. The last eruption was roughly 600,000 years ago, and there have been ominous signs of earth movements in that region.
