DOG With a Rope is Will "Quantic" Holland's 14th album in less than a decade.
Now resident in Colombia, bringing him closer to the Latino traditions which are the bedrock of his sound, he has brought together another talented array of musicians from near and far, including Peruvian pianist Alfredito Linares and Steel Pulse drummer Conrad Kelly, for what is described quite accurately as a "tropical soundclash".
Together they lace the usual Quantic palette with Jamaican dub and dancehall styles to produce such seamless unions as the loping Latino reggae sashay of Cumbia Sobre El Mar and the mischievous skank of Te Pico el Yaibi.
