40 hit by food poisoning
FORTY people were struck by food poisoning in the Lothians last week.
Latest figures show that there were also 14 cases of chickenpox and one instance of mumps – the lowest for some time.
The statistics released by Health Protection Scotland are designed to provide a picture of the spread of infectious disease.
