20 jobs to be axed at Orkney oil terminal
THE jobs of 20 contract workers are to be axed at the oil terminal at Flotta on Orkney. The cuts will affect workers employed by the Wood Group and Sodexo at the Talisman-operated facility.
Liberal Democrat MP for Orkney and Shetland Alistair Carmichael said he would speak to Talisman management and the workers over the next few days.
