£15m boost for Scots athletes
Scottish athletes will benefit from a multi-million-pound performance investment for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Sportscotland will allocate 14.9 million to 51 sports bodies ahead of the Glasgow Games, as it strives to produce "the most successful Scottish team ever".
The money will support athletes' preparations and includes funds for disabled athletes.
Sportscotland chairwoman Louise Martin said that the level of support offered to the 17 sports competing in the games was "uppermost" in their discussions.
