1,000-space car park plan for airport
A MASSIVE car park with space for more than 1,000 vehicles is planned for land next to Aberdeen Airport.
The site, at Newton Cottage Farm in Dyce, is agricultural land currently used for grazing. The airport passenger terminal lies to the north-west of the site.
The application, backed by city council planners, will go before the city council's planning committee next Thursday.
The plans show an indicative car parking layout for 1,014 spaces, including 38 disabled ones at the end closest to the airport terminal.
Planning officials are recommending that the application be approved.
