Recorded in New York at a concert filmed in Hell's Kitchen, this album captures the top echelon of Irish/American talent in full flight, and includes performances by Eileen Ivers, Joannie Madden, Seamus Egan, Karan Casey and John Doyle. The audience roars appreciation through wild sets of slides and jigs by the large ensembles and are stilled by the songs and airs of the varied smaller line-ups. You can also hear the footwork of the stepdancers, and the on-stage banter between Madden and Liz Carroll after a blistering set. Classy and fun, this is one of the best live albums I've heard.
