A showcase of Britain’s best nature photography is being unveiled at Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden.
In one of the most ambitious projects of its kind, the 2020Vision initiative has seen the UK’s best filmmakers and photographers use a series of breath-taking images and assorted media to tell the story of the UK’s ecosystems.

The launch of the open-air street gallery exhibition will take place on Friday June 6, after contributors spent a staggering 20 months in the field collecting the images, footage and even sounds of various ecosystems.
The Royal Botanic Garden’s Regius Keeper, Professor Stephen Blackmore, welcomed the exhibition, saying: “These beautiful images remind us just how important our natural heritage is in the quality of our lives.
“I hope they will cause everyone who sees them to reflect on what more they can do to cherish and protect nature.”
