JUDGING PANEL:

Andrew O’Brien

The Scotsman picture editor Andrew O’Brien has 25 years experience in the newspaper industry, he first joined The Scotsman in 2000 and has been picture editor there since 2005. Prior to that he was a photographer working for newspapers, magazines and agencies in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

Max Milligan

Max Milligan is a fine art photographer who eschews the use of flash, filters and manipulation, preferring to rely on the capture of natural or available light and the relationship between the eye and the moment. A Scot himself, his work hangs in corporate and private collections worldwide, including 27 pieces in the prestigious Deutsche Bank collection in London.

Pete Irvine

Pete Irvine is the Managing Director of Unique Events, Scotland’s leading major event company. He is the Director of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and the author of Scotland the Best, the bestselling independent guide.
