TV talent shows closer than before
THE battle for weekend television ratings is closer than before – with the X Factor results show edging past the competition from Strictly Come Dancing on
Sunday night.
On Saturday, the BBC ballroom dancing contest beat the ITV singing contest by more than a million viewers.
On Sunday, 9.6 million viewers tuned in to the X Factor results show, which saw Glasgwegian Melanie Masson sent home.
By contrast, 8.1 million viewers tuned in to Strictly to watch the last performance of Johnny Ball and Iveta Lokoslute.
