Number’s up for ITV1 after 11 years

TELEVISION chiefs are to revert to the name ITV for the commercial network’s main channel – dropping the “1” that has been used for 11 years.

It is part of an overhaul of the brand which will be introduced in the new year, including a new logo that will also figure across its digital channels.
