Game of Thrones Series 3 trailer released

HBO, makers of Game of Thrones, have released a second trailer for the upcoming third season of the acclaimed TV show.

Loosely based on the first half of A Storm of Swords, the third in the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George RR Martin, the new series of Game of Thrones picks up the story around where A Clash of Kings ended.

The Seven kingdoms of Westeros are still immersed in the War of the Five Kings, with four remaining kings fighting to save their crowns. Civil war rages, ruining the common people and the ruling House of Baratheon. The new alliance between House Tyrell and House Lannister has seen Stannis Baratheon’s attempts to take King’s Landing defeated.

Like its predecessors, series three will comprise ten episodes, and will begin airing on March 31.
